I've been playing saxophone for about seven years now,

and I love playing saxophone.

I love playing music in general.

Um, and over the pandemic I've gotten into teaching more

lessons through like, um, through Zoom or Skype.

And in my high school band, I've gotten opportunities

to teach the band class as a whole

and to teach my saxophone section

and other sections as well.

And I feel like that's where my passion

of teaching has come from.

Um, I love all types of music, jazz, hip hop, classical r

and b, really anything.

And that kind of integrates with how I approach my lessons

because one of the things I like to tell my students is

that learning how to play music

or learning how to play an instrument should be fun.

And it, you shouldn't, it shouldn't feel boring.
