Hi! My name is Grace. I'm a graduate from the University of Rochester, in New York. I have a Bachelors of Science in Brain and Cognitive science with a concentration in neurobiology and neurophysiolog... y, as well as a minor in Computer Science. I currently work in a lab at the University of Rochester Medical Center where I research rare neurological disorders. Beyond my current position I have an extensive background in other software/neuroscience disciplines. In my spare time I enjoy free reading sci-fi novels and trying new arts and crafts. For as long as I can remember, I have loved learning! My favorite thing about being a tutor is seeing students' faces light up when something finally clicks, and/or when I see students experience someone catering to their intellectual needs for the first time. My ultimate goal as a tutor is to help students understand topics, but to also help them gain studying skills to empower them for years to come.
