Hello! My name is Juan Camilo but you can call me Camilo. I was born in Medellin, Colombia, but raised in New Jersey. I currently live in Colombia and have been tutoring and teaching ESL and English g... rammar for over ten years and counting. My passion for tutoring actually began at the age of 13 when I used to tutor adults on how to repair and do maintenance on their computers. When I turned 18 My parents and I decided to move back to Colombia, where I finally decided to pursue my passion of teaching. I completed a pedagogy course and certified my English and teaching with multiple exams like the IELTS, TKT, TOEIC and more, and now have a certified C2 level of English. Within these years I've had the opportunity to teach and tutor in Corporación Universitaria Remington (a university here in Colombia), CECAS (a private school in Medellin), and a couple Language learning institutes. I currently work as an ESL teacher in SMART Language Academy, where I have been working for four years. I have the experience in working with children and adults making it my goal to show that English can be learned easily and while having fun. What I mainly like about tutoring is being able to accompany someone and seeing them grow in their process of language learning.
