I graduated from Baze University Abuja with a B.Eng in Computer Engineering with distinctions. Right from my nursery school days I have always loved mathematics and it has always been my favorite subj... ect in school. I actually intended to study mathematics in university but I decided to choose something that will give me more opportunities and where I can apply mathematics to. In university, i earned A's in all the mathematics courses I offered and in some a 100% in them. I also used my free time to tutor my mates in several math courses and helped them score distinctions in the courses. I have also tutored several high school students in my neighborhood during my free time in order to teach people about what I enjoy doing. I have taught elementary math, algebra, calculus, trigonometry and all my students understand my teaching and it helps to improve their grades in school. Although mathematics is deemed a difficult course in school, I believe with the right technique and tutor one can easily grasp the concept behind it because once you understand the concept you are good to go.read more

Hi!! My name is Eme. I was born and raised in Osun state, Nigeria but moved to Abuja during my penultimate year of high school. I'm a recent computer engineering graduate at Baze University, Abuja. I ... initially intended to study mathematics but courses when I saw that engineering would bring me more opportunities in the future. I enjoy playing basketball and badminton during my weekends and also enjoy playing chess especially when i register for tournaments. I have been tutoring mathematics to my peers right from when I was in secondary school as it has been my best subject for a long time now. I tutor algebra, trigonometry, calculus, further math, geometry, and elementary math. I have experience from my undergraduate days at Baze University where I also tutored my course mates and others in various math courses. I am also able to tutor other courses like science and engineering up to middle school level and can assist in homework and test preparations. My goal is to introduce STEM courses to young students especially females in order to increase the female percentage in STEM. As a young engineer I have volunteered with the Association of Professional Women Engineer of Nigeria (APWEN) where I have gone to high schools to spread awareness of women in engineering and how not challenging it can be once you have the right steps and mentors guiding you along the way.read more
