    Material Science

  • I worked closely with Mohammed as an undergraduate researcher in a materials science laboratory for several years. In my time working with him, Mohammed helped develop my understanding of material properties and the variety tests used to identify and categorize them. His teaching style and guidance in the lab fostered open discussions and questions on the subject matter. During my later years at the lab, I often called back to phrases and explanations Mohammed had used to teach me while I was passing on that knowledge to new lab members. Looking back, I found his mentorship an essential part of my learning experience.
