Hello! As a sophomore in high school, I placed 2nd in the statewide Chemathon event at the University of Maryland. It was then that I recognized my ability to grasp such complex concepts and convert... them into simpler terms. More importantly, I spent the next 7 years manipulating such concepts for better comprehension catered to my students I tutored. My disciplined work ethic and studying skills allowed me to graduate with a Bachelor's in Chemistry at Drexel University's and Rowan University. I studied interpersonal communication and tutoring skills until I was recognized for my student's rapid success in chemistry and promoted to Chief Tutor in university. Upon transferring to Rowan University, I was selected for a paid summer undergraduate research position in materials science (sub-branch of chemistry). My research mentor appreciated my attention to detail in the laboratory and offered me a job as his teaching assistant for his college-level chemistry course.
