I live in Norfolk, Va. Education is very important to me. I love learning and teaching. I studied with John Holt one of my professors for my MA at New York University. He taught "How Children Learn" ... and "Children Learn Through Play". That became my philosophy. If learning is fun students internalize and retain what they learn because they enjoy it and can associate to it. It is not a drudgery or stiff and stifling.
