Hi! My names Aspen, but I actually go by my middle name Brando. I live in Allentown, PA and am currently employed by the Keystone Umpiring Association. I am a 20 year old undergraduate student (mecha... nical engineering) athlete (baseball) at the University of Pitt-Johnstown. I’m very passionate about exercise and baseball and I absolutely love the outdoors and animals. I believe tutoring for me will allow to flourish the minds of these elementary to high-school kids with further knowledge and help them excel in their future academics. Having a great introduction and getting comfortable with my student is my main goal, from there we will proceed with warmups and getting to know the capacity of their minds, examples with lessons, and finish off with a final appeal and homework for the next session. What makes me “me”? During my last year of high-school, COVID-19 was introduced and shut basically the entire country, including every high-school. This really, really had a heavy negative impact on my preparation for college. I arrived for my freshman year and I basically had no idea what I was in for because everything was still remote and through zoom. After freshman year, everything was uplifted and in-person classes began. This is where I figured out I had a lot of catching up to do.
