I have studied English seriously for the last seven years. The first four years were spent in high school in various honors-level English courses, ranging from Honors Composition to Advanced Placement... English Literature and Language Arts, scoring a 4/5 on both exams. In high school, I was also an active member of the National English Honors Society, as well as in the Advanced Theatre program to help enhance my love for literature of the theatre. The last three years have been dedicated to studying English, particularly English Education, in my collegiate studies. Ranging from materials in American Literature to World Literature, I love to explore all depths of English. From Shakespeare and other famous playwrights to the classic Grimms fairytales, to historical fiction books and beyond, I love reading literature and helping to create activities that students will actually enjoy in understanding material. Currently, I am completing my student teaching internship at the high school level for the next year. My aim is to not only become a fun and engaging English teacher, but also to hopefully write and illustrate my own books one day!read more
