Patrick RippeonWestminster, MDProfessional Saxophone Teacher, Graphic Designer, and Performer
I am a professional classical saxophonist who has performed in numerous ensembles throughout my education including the McDaniel College Concert Band, McDaniel College Jazz Ensemble, McDaniel College G4 Saxophone Quartet, Shenandoah Conservatory Wind Ensemble, Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, Shenandoah Conservatory EDGE Ensemble, Shenandoah Conservatory Saxophone Ensemble, Shenandoah Conservatory Ignus Saxophone Quartet, and Westminster Symphony Orchestra.
I have also received unique education and performance perspectives from many instructors including Dr. Timothy Roberts, Professor Jonathan Yanik, Professor David Duree, Mr. Ron Diehl, Daniel Andrews, Matthew Carmichael, and Nicolas Prost. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music Performance degree with an emphasis in classical saxophone at Shenandoah Conservatory.
In the summer of 2023, I performed with the Shenandoah Conservatory Saxophone Collective at Conservatorio Superior de Música "Manuel Castillo" in Sevilla, Spain. I also observed a lesson at le Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse with Claude Delangle and one of his most advanced students. During the same trip, I performed “Clos Ginguet” by Jean-Denis Michat for Nicolas Prost at the Vandoren Showroom at 56 Rue Lepic, Paris.
Furthermore, I have performed in multiple professional ensembles including the Northern Neck Orchestra and Parea Saxophone Quartet.
Finally, I am a professional graphic designer working at a company called Aimereon that fulfills contracts with the United States Navy and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Thus, I am qualified to guide advanced students on how to build a career, form connections, and improve their professional image.
