Michael JayneCorvallis, ORBA Physics, BS Mathematics, MS Statistics
I have been studying mathematics and statistics since I was an undergraduate student, and last year I obtained my Master of Science in Statistics. During my time as a graduate student, I also had the opportunity and pleasure of teaching undergraduate stats classes.
My education gave me a deep understanding of foundational statistical principles. Of course, this includes hypothesis testing, regression (linear and generalized), prediction, experimental design and more. Furthermore, I learned some advanced topics, such as stochastic processes, time series analysis, Bayesian inference, data visualization and spatial statistics, among others. Plus, I have plenty of hands-on experience with programs such as R, MATLAB, SAS and SQL!
Whether you are looking to understand complex statistical concepts from a theoretical perspective, or if you are just now taking your first ever statistics class, I am here to help!
