I studied grammar and high school in Colombia. My schedule was very demanding. For twelve years my schedule was from 8;00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2;00 pm to 5:00 pm. At noon, I had only time to go home back and forth to the school and I arrive home close to 6:30 pm. I had to study subjects such as Anatomy, French, English, Psychology, Philosophy, and others. The most challenging was to answer a homework or test with orthograph mistake, the answer was marked wrong! I needed to have a Spanish language proficiency. I like to speak proper Spanish because it reflects the Latino culture and I consider important to maintain the culture without using Spanglish.
