College Student, SPANISH TUTOR

I believe my qualifications make me an ideal candidate for this role. As a native Spanish speaker, Spanish has been an integral part of my life since childhood. I have continually pursued opportunities to enhance my knowledge, including taking formal Spanish classes throughout my academic journey. Notably, I completed the IB Spanish course during high school, which provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the language, both in terms of grammar and cultural nuances. My daily life involves speaking, writing, and hearing Spanish, ensuring that my language skills remain sharp and current. This constant immersion has allowed me to stay attuned to the language's subtleties and variations, making me well-equipped to share these insights with students. Beyond my linguistic expertise, I bring a passion for teaching Spanish. It has always been my favorite subject, and I find immense joy in imparting my knowledge to others. My patient demeanor enables me to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment, ensuring that students feel comfortable as they navigate the complexities of the Spanish language. What sets me apart as a tutor is my holistic understanding of Spanish, encompassing not only the language itself but also various tips and tricks that facilitate effective learning. I am confident that my comprehensive skill set, paired with a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, makes me an excellent candidate for the Spanish tutoring position.

Spanish & Psychology Mentor

When I first started as a teacher assistant in 2017, I was scared; I did not know what to expect, but soon I realized that this was not only my job it was my passion to help these children and their parents. I realized that my desire is to help those in need despise all things I have encountered. Since then I have switched from career paths but every day at work it it is inspiring to see little minds grow and perfect themselves. I just sit and think how amazing it would be to help adults, marriages, and families achieve the same goals they once had as children. Even us as adults need other adults to guide us through this crazy world; and together we make the world a better place. One day one of my kindergarten students said: “Mrs. Díaz I want to be just like you when I grow up.” This really touched my heart! I have seen so many different types of families and situations and especially this child came from a rough situation. Seeing that she saw hope in me; that life is not bad after all it gave me the strength to keep pushing forward and keep helping others. It is my desire to leave my mark in this world and throughout the years I have learned that you do that by helping those who need your hand in their darkest times. Being a teacher assistant taught me that is not all about grades and how many skills you have; it is about putting all your effort in what your heart desires and them knowing they can change the world with just one act of kindness at a time.
