Jazmin SalaberriosMagnolia, DESmall steps, huge impact! Let's work together to achieve your goals. You CAN do this!
I have had experience in music performance since the age of 6, but began studying to pursue a professional career in 2011. I have a Bachelors and Masters in Music and am currently finishing up my Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Kentucky.
My passion for the art of teaching, years of study, and performance experience allows me to be a knowledgable and empathetic voice teacher. In order to effectively learn, it is important to be able to determine each individual students learning style and interests so that I can effectively help them grow.
I have expertise in working with students from kindergarten to collegiate level. I also work with students who are in need of accommodations. I have techniques for EVERY learners level of ability.
I am a teacher who is passionate, relatable, empathetic, growth-minded, innovative, and fun! I can't wait to work with and explore music and the voice with learners at each level.
Some of my notable performances have been with Opera Omaha, Kentucky Opera, and Berlin Opera Academy. In addition to performing, I have a background in education, having taught for three years in the public school system before returning to graduate school. I regularly draw upon my combined experiences in education, performance, and international travel to curate recitals and workshops to help bring healing, understanding, and connectivity to communities through the arts.
