Something magical happens when a group of people sing together in harmony! I've been blessed to sing with some of the best young choirs Indiana has to offer, most notably, the North Central Counterpoints. Here I learned musical discipline, dynamics, tone, and what it truly means to be a part of a choir unit. I cut my teeth on the difficult choral works of Eric Whitacre, Z. Randall Stroope, Beethoven, John Ritter, and others. We mastered works of foreign composers as well with lessons in diction and comprehension in French, Russian, Spanish, Italian, German, Afrikaans, Gaelic, and even some regional dialects. We went on to win 3 ISSMA state championship for choral work and 2 national titles and in 2007 I was awarded the Indiana outstanding choral performer award and scholarship. Although I didn't go on to study choral works in college, I never lost touch. I sang with the fort Wayne philharmonic and was heavily involved in musical theater. Currently I'm playing Shrek in a production of Shrek the musical here at the fort Wayne Civic Theatre.

My introduction to music started very young when I first learned how to play violin. I started reading music at the age of 8 and continued playing all the way into college. I picked up singing initially in Middle School and started doing Musical Theater in high school. Eventually, I decided to pursue performance as a career. I have completed two degrees in performance. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Theater where I completed the Performance Trak as well as the Stage Management Track at my undergrad, Wesleyan College. I have a Master of Fine Arts in Performing Arts from The Savannah College of Art and Design, where we mainly trained in acting for Film and TV, and I also trained in vocal performance.
