When I first tackled the SAT, my practice test score was a humbling moment. It was a stark wake-up call, showing me just how much ground I needed to cover. Through dedicated preparation, I tackled the challenge head-on, focusing especially on understanding the test's structure and mastering its content. My efforts paid off, resulting in a "first-try" score of 1480, with a 700 in Math and a 780 in English. This journey from uncertainty to confidence taught me the value of targeted practice and perseverance.
My goal now is to pass on these lessons. While the math section often revisits concepts learned in school, I've found that the English portion can seem more daunting to many. Hence, my tutoring leans towards unraveling the complexities of the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) section, without sidelining the importance of math. I aim to provide a comprehensive understanding that equips students for every part of the SAT, ensuring they too can see significant improvements in their scores.
