From a very young age, I have always been so passionate about reading anything I see. English comprehension, drama, poetry was my favorite subjects all through middle and high school. I love reading books, evaluating literature, critiques, writing poems, writing short stories, watching subtitled movies and crafting argumentative speeches.
I have also recieved training in evidence-based reading instruction, including phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. I hold certification in reading, demonstrationg my expertise in assessing and addressing reading difficulties through Teaching English as Foreingn Language (TEFL) and EF-Set. I also received many accolades in Speeches and Debates that I wrote and performed myself.
I've worked with students of various ages, skill levels, and learning styles, including those with dyslexia, ADHD and English language learners, incoperating visual, auditory, and kinesthetic activities to engage students and reinforce reading skills. Accessing students progress, adjusting my instruction to ensure student meet their reading goals on their own pace.
