Karin FahrenholzWellington, FLFrench/Music/Dance
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Lewis & Clark College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. I have studied violin, piano, voice, music composition, and music history during the course of my life as a musician. I did my senior thesis as an undergrad on the relationship between spirituality and musicality in the music of Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as a senior piano recital.
I have taught piano privately and for a company called CHORDination in Portland, OR; taught Choral Performance, Select Choir, Band, Music History, Musical Theatre to students at the Institute of Notre Dame in Baltimore, MD (in addition to being the musical director & piano accompanist for The Wizard of Oz); and taught Music for Worship for Mercy High School in Baltimore, MD. I have also been a Music and Youth Director at St. Peter Catholic Church in Lexington, KY.
At present, I enjoy playing piano and singing in my parish choir as my schedule permits.
I would be very happy to tutor piano, voice, or music history.
