I completed AP Music Theory during my junior year of high school, and earned a 5 on the exam. I also tutored classmates throughout the duration of this class, as it was taught very quickly and many of them needed extra work on the material. I composed and arranged music for my band and a cappella group throughout high school, as well as just for personal practice. I am now a junior at the University of Connecticut studying Music Education. I've been standing alto section leader of the UConn Concert Choir, and have acted as Executive Music Director of my a cappella group, A Minor, for two years now, including last year when we placed first at our ICCA Quarterfinal in New York.
