I am an experienced science teacher who currently teaches Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Medical Terminology at the high school level. I have been teaching science for 4 years after completing my degree in Biology, with minors in Chemistry and Environmental Science. I have a drive to help those who wish to find success in the life science disciplines by making lessons personal and effective. I decided to pursue this path about halfway through nursing school, where I tutored other students in the aforementioned subjects, as well as other healthcare topics.
My pedagogy is based in Universal Design Learning, AVID strategy, 5E, and WICOR strategy.
