From quite a young age, I have always been passionate about English. I love reading books, writing poems and short stories, and participating in argumentative speeches. I am very talented with spoken English, I began public speaking at an early age to a huge congregation, over the years I have mastered the act of public speaking with confidence and poise, I also teach this skill to young learners.
I have a TEFL&TESOL diploma from the Uni-prep institute California USA, my training in detail covered all aspects of English teaching both online and in-classroom. I have extensively learned from experienced experts how to teach learners of different English proficiency levels various communication skills, such as writing, listening, speaking and reading skills.
I have also acquired the knowledge of teaching for various English language learning purposes. My training also included practical classroom sessions which involved the application of all I had learned.
Finally, I have several relevant authentic texts and teaching materials which meets each students needs and requirements.
I have a 3-year experience teaching English for academic purposes to native English speakers in-classroom.
I have also trained young learners for a 3-year period to improve their writing skills for English essay competitions of which my students have always done exceedingly well.
I have a high school diploma and I am currently a medical student in my penultimate year in the university.
I am very familiar with online learning tools and platforms such as skype, zoom etc . I also possess IT skills which include Microsoft word and excel utilization as well as power point presentations. I have very good knowledge on how to maneuver these platforms to make learning very effective and productive.
My highest qualification would be that I am open to more learning and training. I also have a strong passion for self-improvement and development.
