Abraham WuSeattle, 华盛顿美国Honors Degree, College Writing Tutor, GRE Math 170
I got 36 in ACT Math when I was applying to universities in 2017, and I graduated from the University of Washington with an overall GPA of 3.9. Last month, I've just finished my GRE test, and I scored 170 (full mark) in Math.
ACT Math requires a variety of knowledge and can be time-challenging. Thus, students sometimes got overwhelmed and discouraged by following this test. I am here to get them through this.
For ACT math, I am not only good at helping students solve their puzzles, but more importantly, I help them to learn how to think in math. A logical and consistent way of thinking is always the key to success in ACT math. I will lead students to cultivate such a way of thinking by doing real exercises together. They will soon be familiar with how to understand the question, choose the appropriate knowledge and tools, and reach their answers. Then, we will gradually try to do that well in a specific amount of time.
By following my class, students will push forward their potential for ACT math scores, and they are going to be confident in doing it. I also hope that they can still benefit from the way of thinking about math in the future.
