I used to live in Spokane Washington for 6 months to study English and went to Perth Australia after that to do an exchange study program for a year. In "Japanese", we will be diving into the extensive world that is Japanese language. You will learn grammar structures, verb conjugation, vocabulary, reading, and listening comprehension in a conversational context. I have studied Japanese for the last 6 years. In high school, I was self taught, studying from a variety of language learning textbooks until I graduated. In college, I was finally able to take official classes which ranged from beginner to advanced, and I was the only student of my class to complete the highest level of the course: independent study. During this study, I composed a 12 page paper and a presentation entirely in Japanese while once again conducting my own lessons. Before the pandemic, I traveled to Tondabayashi, Osaka in 2019 as a part of a student exchange program to become immersed in Japanese language and culture. Following my college graduation, I have been working as an online English discussion leader with an organization that specializes in student exchange between the US and Japan.
