Graduated from the Southern Polytechnic School of Engineering and obtained a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kennesaw State University in Marietta, Ga, and a MS Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics. I have used Statistics, Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, and Calculus along with Chemistry and Physics as a Mechanical Engineer student for 5 years. I find it super fun and magical to teach math is a universal language that applies to all things in nature and in music and everything that is creative used in everyday life I love teaching math and I love seeing the connections students have with it as they excel in their studies and their academic goal students may find an appreciation and a unique understanding for a different language that exist amongst everyone.

I am a teacher who teaches at the student level and can provide various approaches to the problem. I know I can make the math look better than it might appear. I have been a math teacher since 2001. I love Geometry and teach it frequently. I visualize graphs, proofs, and angles with clarity and good lessons. I am very clear and understanding. I oftyen ask, "can you show me an example?" "Why is this expression solved this way?" to get participation and engagement.
I have had about 2 years experience tutoring students in the Geometry questions of the ACT. Whether the questions are about parallel lines with a transversal cutting them into various types of angles, the Pythagorean Theorem to find the sides of triangles, the equation of a circle, or similar vs. congruent shapes and their sides or angles, I am able to guide my students to the correct answers. Geometry requires more visual skills, and I am able to tap into those strengths of most students by showing them how a concept works. However, all of these concepts are also based on logic, hence the use of proofs in many of these classes. If a student understands the logic better than the visual, I can guide them to understand the concepts that way. This subject now paves the way for me to help all of my students from Prealgebra through Calculus!
