Graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a Bachelors of Science (B.S) degree in Civil Engineering.

I have also taught Algebra as well, which helps with students who are learning Geometry in their 2nd year of high school. Graduated from the Southern Polytechnic School of Engineering and obtained a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kennesaw State University in Marietta, Ga, and a MS Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics. I'm a sophomore studying industrial engineering and have always been told I have great people skills. I have studied calculus 1, 2, and 3, and linear algebra at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Geometry is a very powerful tool in math and science as many symmetries or how some shapes can function together leads to many calculations for both physics and engineering. I fell in love with Math almost 20 years ago. I find it super fun and magical to teach math is a universal language that applies to all things in nature and in music and everything that is creative used in everyday life I love teaching math and I love seeing the connections students have with it as they excel in their studies and their academic goal students may find an appreciation and a unique understanding for a different language that exist amongst everyone.
A lover of math since grade school, I have been tutoring Geometry for over 6 years. I have tutored dozens of students throughout the last six years and am an expert in Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus. I have had about 2 years experience tutoring students in the Geometry questions of the ACT. Whether the questions are about parallel lines with a transversal cutting them into various types of angles, the Pythagorean Theorem to find the sides of triangles, the equation of a circle, or similar vs. congruent shapes and their sides or angles, I am able to guide my students to the correct answers. Geometry requires more visual skills, and I am able to tap into those strengths of most students by showing them how a concept works. However, all of these concepts are also based on logic, hence the use of proofs in many of these classes. If a student understands the logic better than the visual, I can guide them to understand the concepts that way. This subject now paves the way for me to help all of my students from Prealgebra through Calculus!
