I have been a math teacher since 2001. I love Geometry and teach it frequently. I visualize graphs, proofs, and angles with clarity and good lessons. I am very clear and understanding. I oftyen ask, "can you show me an example?" "Why is this expression solved this way?" to get participation and engagement.
I have had about 2 years experience tutoring students in the Geometry questions of the ACT. Whether the questions are about parallel lines with a transversal cutting them into various types of angles, the Pythagorean Theorem to find the sides of triangles, the equation of a circle, or similar vs. congruent shapes and their sides or angles, I am able to guide my students to the correct answers. Geometry requires more visual skills, and I am able to tap into those strengths of most students by showing them how a concept works. However, all of these concepts are also based on logic, hence the use of proofs in many of these classes. If a student understands the logic better than the visual, I can guide them to understand the concepts that way. This subject now paves the way for me to help all of my students from Prealgebra through Calculus!
I'm a sophomore studying industrial engineering and have always been told I have great people skills. I have studied calculus 1, 2, and 3, and linear algebra at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am also proficient in high school geometry, algebra, and pre-calculus. My teaching assistants have always been a huge help for me and I would love to do the same for others. I keep up with my skills as I use math in many of my other classes.

From a young age, I have always been passionate about Mathematics, especially Geometry. In fact, I wrote my college essay on the many ways I use Geometry in my daily life. It was my favorite subject all through middle and high school. I love solving problems and analyzing shapes. In high school, I earned A's in all my math classes and scored well on my exams. I have finished studying Geometry in school and have had 2 years experience in teaching the subject to freshman and sophomores in high school. I currently tutor elementary and middle school students in math.
I find joy in exploring and learning Geometry. My baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate are focused on Math and Geometry has a very special place in my heart. Teaching it gives me so much sense of happiness. And it is more fulfilling every time I hear students appreciating me the way I teach each geometry lesson- simple and organize.

I fell in love with Math almost 20 years ago. I find it super fun and magical to teach math is a universal language that applies to all things in nature and in music and everything that is creative used in everyday life I love teaching math and I love seeing the connections students have with it as they excel in their studies and their academic goal students may find an appreciation and a unique understanding for a different language that exist amongst everyone.
I have taught high school mathematics for 29 years and coached volleyball for 28 years. I have taught Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus AB. I have also taught Middle School Mathematics for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

I have been a math tutor for students' schools for the last five years. I began my mathematical education with Algebra 1, continued with Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus 1, and I am now enrolled in Calculus 2. Math is one of my favorite subjects to teach, and I'm pretty good at breaking down complicated and tricky issues. Graduated from the Southern Polytechnic School of Engineering and obtained a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kennesaw State University in Marietta, Ga, and a MS Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics. I have used Statistics, Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, and Calculus along with Chemistry and Physics as a Mechanical Engineer student for 5 years. And since 2020 I have tutored at least 6 students privately in math ranging from basic math, geometry, and algebra with excellent results.
