I worked with students with a variety of individualized educational needs and am familiar with how to scaffold and modify material to accommodate any learning disability. I have used Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, and Calculus along with Engineering Load Calculations and Physics to design mechanical equipment as a Mechanical Engineer on for 10 years. Some mechanical equipment I have designed include automotive equipment, industrial automation equipment, military vehicles, and medial devices, Taught Solidworks CAD software and mechanical design to junior engineers and colleagues at Becton Dickinson & Co.. Graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a Bachelors of Science (B.S) degree in Civil Engineering.

I really enjoy tutoring logic, inductive reasoning, deductive reasoning, and two column proofs. I connect with the student to create a logical and efficient two column proof based on deductive reasoning using theorems, postulates, and definitions. We have fun with proofs on popular topics such as parallel lines, congruent triangles, and CPCTC.

I fell in love with Math almost 20 years ago. I find it super fun and magical to teach math is a universal language that applies to all things in nature and in music and everything that is creative used in everyday life I love teaching math and I love seeing the connections students have with it as they excel in their studies and their academic goal students may find an appreciation and a unique understanding for a different language that exist amongst everyone.
Geometry is a very powerful tool in math and science as many symmetries or how some shapes can function together leads to many calculations for both physics and engineering.
