Kurt DyerBoonsboro, MDHorticulture Mentor
I have spent the last 10 years working within the horticulture industry including experience with landscaping, ornamental & vegetable gardening, working in greenhouse/nursery production, and indoor grow settings. I studied Plant Sciences and earned my Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology through Delaware Valley University. My most recent work includes six years working within the cannabis industry as a cultivation manager.
Whether you are interested in general plant science and physiology or have an interest within a specific realm of growing plants, I am able to curate a custom lesson plan that aims to teach you exactly what you are looking for.
Subjects I am able to teach include but are not limited to: Vegetable gardening, ornamental gardening, crop planning, integrated pest management, tropical plant care, greenhouse management, hydroponics, vertical growing, propagation, pruning, plant identification, and tissue culture.
