Way back in my elementary and high school years, I was not really good at English because I used to like math and English was not my thing. However, I figured out that English is like math, and it has some patterns or formulas to follow. Since then, I have started loving English and exploring some techniques on how to obtain mastery of it.
I took English as my major and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Secondary education. I have taught English for nine years to diverse students with different English levels ranging from beginner to advanced in all age groups. I received numerous, intensive, and extensive trainings in four macro-English skills such as Speaking, Listening, Writing, and Reading during my college years and from my previous big ESL companies in the Philippines.
I have developed some strategies on how to learn English topics in a pleasing manner by simplifying some terms to make them understood by the learners. I can also tailor personalized English lessons depending on the student's learning preferences.
As a team leader in one of my former companies, I handled English speaking, writing, and grammar group classes and even mentored some of the teachers in my team when they struggled with teaching some advanced grammar topics.
Being an English language learner, I believe that whatever struggles and difficulties you might encounter when learning the specific language, just keep going and never hesitate to ask for help from a reliable tutor, like me and others on this platform.
