Mariam Hovhannisyan, IELTS instructor/ English tutor

First things first, I would like to mention that I have learned English since my childhood years, and from then on, I keep going to be passionate about and be always in pursuit of newly discovering this language without pause. As a consequence, I made my mind up to apply to Brusov State University to level up my proficiency and get a brilliant command of English at the end of my educational path. I must admit that I did my best and graduated with master's degree in pedagogy and, as luck would have it, with flying colours. I have been cooperating with ''DG Foreign Languages'' Online School as an English tutor more than one year, however, it is important to highlight that as self-employed, it has been 6 rewarding years since I started my teaching exposure towards preparing and delivering lessons to improve my learners' reading, writing, and conversing skills; developing educational content such as notes and quizzes; assigning activities to facilitate students' consolidation of learning material; tailoring my teaching style in accordance with students' needs; managing interpersonal dynamics to ensure that the atmosphere is conducive to learning; tracking and reporting on students' progress; keeping up-to-date with learning software. Moreover, I also do volunteer work and teach English online both on a local and International level. It goes without saying that while I am providing English lessons to my learners around every nook and cranny of the world, I am indeed boosting my intercultural awareness and building worldwide connections.
