I am a philosopher-ethnographer from Istanbul, Turkey. My research and teaching fields are colonialism, aesthetic and social-justice action ethnography, epistemology and social construction of categories; Women and Gender Studies, Middle Eastern Studies and Area/Cultural/International Studies. My emphasis is on violence, social displacement, forced migrations, street children in Turkey. For my dissertation I conducted art and writing workshops with Kurdish youth who had to stay on the street and with Romani children who worked on the streets as they lived in squatter settlements. I taught a section of Oakes Core for UCSC's Oakes College that houses students of color, low income students, first generation college students and LGBTQI students. Upon graduation I taught a section of Oakes Core for UCSC's Oakes College that houses students of color, low income students, first generation college students and LGBTQI students. I taught three sections of a course on women and globalization called "Global Women" at San Jose State. I did a 6 unit service learning course called “Creating Healthy Communities” at CSUMB. I taught another course on gender and globalization in the Diversity Studies Department at California College of the Arts. English Grammar, Reading, & Essay Writing Expert

I have been writing exemplary essays ever since elementary school. Over the course of the entirety of my school career (from elementary school to university), I was highly praised for my ability to write at a much higher level than my fellow students. I have extensive experience writing essays and papers for every subject (and in many different writing formats, including MLA, AP, APA, and ASA), especially in-depth research papers. Even the essays that I believed were sub-par never scored below an A-. In more courses that I can count, I received the highest grade out of all the other students in the class. While I was a broke college student, I began to supplement my non-existing income by editing/proofreading and ghostwriting papers for other college students. The only criticism I ever received was that I wrote at a level that was deemed "too advanced." Eventually, I experienced a morality crisis due to the fact that I earned someone their master's degree by entirely composing their thesis myself. After this, I had to stop ghostwriting essays. Toward the end of university, I was hired as a senior editor for a small publishing company where I edited manuscripts and constructed literary reviews, contracts, and written legal documents. Ever since I graduated from university, I have greatly missed writing papers, and I often wish I could have remained in college forever so that I could continue to do what I did best, i.e., write essays.
