Anusha GogulapatiBakersfield, CAUCLA Graduate, UC Davis Medical Student
I have been studying different forms of chemistry for the last six years. In high school, I took general chemistry, as well as AP chemistry. I eventually earned a 5 on the Advanced Placement Chemistry exam.
During college at UCLA, I took several pre-requisite chemistry courses: two general chemistry classes, two organic chemistry classes, and one biochemistry course. I earned an A in all of these courses, developing new techniques of studying for each of them and helping my peers along the way. I went on to study chemistry again for my MCAT or medical school entrance exam.
Throughout the years, I have tutored my peers and other students in chemistry, drawing on the tools I have used to be successful in my own classes. I thoroughly enjoy walking through problems and helping other people understand, visualize, and eventually master the concepts presented to them. I understand that different people learn in different ways, so I have learned to use my extensive tutoring experience in English, Math, and Science to adapt my teaching to the student.
My greatest hope is that Chemistry can become a puzzle my students look forward to solving after we work together!
