🌟 Unlock Your Academic Potential: Join My Virtual Tutoring Sessions!

For the past five years, I have had the privilege of serving as a tutor at Florida A&M University, where I have dedicated my efforts to the subjects of Calculus I and C++ Programming. During my tenure as a Mathematics Tutor, I had the invaluable opportunity to instruct students in Calculus I within the Liberal Arts curriculum. Under the guidance and mentorship of my tutoring coordinator, I diligently honed my tutoring abilities, striving to optimize the learning experiences of our students. Furthermore, my proficiency in C++ programming is a testament to my personal commitment to self-improvement. Through my steadfast determination and independent learning endeavors, I achieved a level of proficiency that garnered recognition among my peers and colleagues. It was not uncommon for fellow tutors to seek my guidance specifically for C++ programming tutoring. My extensive experience and honed skill set equip me to not only facilitate students in achieving academic success but also empower them to excel in their broader life pursuits. I firmly adhere to the belief that preparation, not chance, paves the way for success, and it is this philosophy that guides my instructional approach. In conclusion, I am humbled by the opportunities I have had to contribute to the educational journeys of countless students. I remain committed to fostering an environment of growth and learning, where my ultimate goal is to empower individuals to thrive in their academic and personal endeavors.

Math Mentor

I was in AB Calculus in High School my senior year in 2014. The class for me was simple and I took the same class again for a semester in Fall of 2014 at the University of West Florida. During my time in college I tutored many of my fraternity brothers in Calculus I and Business Calculus. I also tutored some of my friends in Geometrical Physics and Chemistry I my Freshman and Sophomore year. I also coached basketball for 4 years as an assistant coach while in college. I will be honest, I do not remember everything in Calculus I, but I do have a very good work ethic in learning subjects, and re-learning subjects fast. I personally have never taught any classes through the internet, but the idea I have is before the tutoring session, I would research all the subject necessary to answer just about every question that can be thrown at me. If someone needs me to work through a specific question I do not mind, and if I do not understand the problem we will work it out together. What I have learned from teaching is that one way does not help all, and I understand that different POVs and methods can help different students. I know not all students will be able to complete each Calculus class with A+ grades once I teach them, but as long as they are improving then I will be happy with my work. I am very flexible since I work from home, and I do not mind answering questions before and/or after sessions.
