I'm a Veteran of the armed forces and I served as an enlisted in the U.S. Navy and as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard). I achieved a very high score (the first category) that allowed me to hold my head high, and pick a specialty that I wanted.
All my students who wanted to pass the ASVAB test (including the majority with very low scores) have succeeded with me leading the way. It's hard work and more sessions including study on your own but it's possible as long as there are no other restrictions.
