I graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona in 2022 with a Bachelor in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science and minors in Mathematics and Biochemistry. I have been tutoring high school math since 2016 and also have experience in GED/test prep tutoring. My goal with tutoring is to provide a deeper understanding of methodology and problem solving. I'd like to help your student succeed with their specified goals, whether that be grades, test prep, or mastering a topic. I like to center my teaching around the materials and homework your student is currently working with in order to succeed and complete their goals. Offering techniques and problem solving helps students work through problems with the long-term goal of independence. I work primarily one-to-one, but group learning can also be useful in learning to use resources around them.
