I was an Art Mentor at a program called Raise Up Families, where I created lesson plans for arts and crafts, directed summer camp activities, took care of children, assisting with activities. I was also a Summer Camp Mentor at the Chinese Community Center Youth Program, where I was in charge of lessons regarding the arts where I planned out each class and projects assigned to the kids. At the Talent Academy, I was a Teacher's Assistant in an arts and crafts class for younger children. There, I helped out when teachers needed assistance and carried out and helped the students with the steps they needed throughout the course. Through my time there, I gained valuable experience in a classroom setting and the requirements to run a successful lesson. I also have experience with online tutoring, where I was an English tutor during the pandemic. During that time, I tutored children online from Wuhan English. I planned every lesson, assigned homework, and helped them with questions. Throughout this time, I learned to carry out tasks online just as effectively as in-person learning. Throughout my years of interest in Art Education, I not only gained an abundance of experience in the education department, but I also received many distinguished awards for my artworks. They include: -2019 won a gold medal for the Scholastic arts and writing competition for artwork “Chun” -2019 won a silver medal for Scholastic arts and competition award for artwork “FLower of Life” -2020-2021 two pieces (“Chaos” and “Panic”) from VASE competition qualified for state level competition -2021 Artwork was published into a book after Celebrating Arts competition -2021 Rodeo piece was qualified as a finalist in District -2021 Recognized as “Best of Art III” in Retrospective -2020 Art "Inseparable" published in a book from Congressional Art Competition -2021 Art “Inseparable” was Auctioned off in Fort Bend County Fair -2019 State Honorable Mention for Duck Stamp Art Competition

Art, Psychology and Writing Coach ✨

I fell in love with art when I was very young. I would write short stories and then illustrate them. In school, art was my favorite subject especially when I got to high school. I started to refine and develop my concepts. After my senior year of high school and a bit of research, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in art therapy. I believe that psychology helps us to deeply understand ourselves and others. It allows reflection into our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and traumas, and gives us tools to change those that harm us. I believe that art does the same thing. Not only does art present us an outlet to release the trauma we hold onto, it also helps us view ourselves from a more unbiased lens, allowing new perspectives and reflections to occur. I have participated in many forms of art making. This includes sculpture, two dimensional design, plein air painting and figure drawing courses, and painting and drawing experiences in my city. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Art. I work as an Early Childhood Educator, and with my two year old students, I am constantly creating. Teaching them has really allowed me to tap into my creativity and expand it. Using cardboard, paper plates, playdoh, paint, popsicle sticks and every material you could think of, I create bulletin boards and art and sensory projects with them every day. I also have been writing since I was eight years old. I write poetry every day. Creating art is therapeutic for me, as is teaching. I hope to share my passions with everyone looking to learn on Lessonpal.

Russian girl who can teach you art and Russian language

A long time ago, when I was a child, I went to drawing, and then I gave up. Until the age of 15, I perceived art as something useless and was absolutely sure that art was nothing. You can't earn money with it, you can't work with it, you can't get carried away with it, live with it, and so on. However, when I went to college, to the surprise of myself and others, I chose such a specialty as "Graphic Design". For 4 years I studied computer graphics, layout, drawing, painting, anatomy and so on. It turned out that deep down I really like to create art with my hands, in particular: watercolor, simple pencil and pastel. And I still like to create graphic design, so I'm good in both directions. In addition, I have presented my articles at conferences a lot, so I can help you find a topic that excites and excites you, help you write an article and speak with it. As a result, I received a certificate of teaching art history in addition to my diploma. I am very inspired by European and Asian art, and I always enthusiastically tell others. While studying at the university, I sometimes worked as an art tutor for kids 4-10 years old. So I feel comfortable with the kids. My teaching experience is about 2 years. However, I have never taught online, so this will be the first time for me, as well as for you, in choosing the right mentor in art. Now I think I have some knowledge that I can pass on to the next generation, who also want to bring their story and vision through art.
