Hi! I'm Vaishna Prabhuvenkatesh and I would be happy to be your Algebra tutor! I am originally from the Bay Area, but currently reside in Los Angeles for my studies. With a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and ongoing doctoral studies in Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.
My interdisciplinary background enables me to provide comprehensive support across various subjects, ensuring that students receive well-rounded instruction tailored to their individual needs. In high school and college, I earned A's and B's in all of my core subjects like Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus with Applications, and Statistics.
As a former Teacher Assistant at the California Tamil Academy with over 3 years of teaching experience, I gained valuable experience in facilitating learning, guiding students in handwriting improvement, reading comprehension, and addressing academic inquiries. My role as a substitute instructor also equipped me with the skills to adapt quickly to different teaching environments and effectively engage students of different learning styles.
I believe in taking a student-centered approach to tutoring, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and learning styles of individual students.
