I was 9 when my mom asked me if I wanted to join the Christian Arts Theatre (CAT) program. I agreed simply out of curiosity, but it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I thoroughly enjoyed performing onstage in front of an audience with my friends. Throughout my final three years of elementary school, I performed in a plethora of shows with various roles ranging from the leads to the ensemble. I was also in choir in elementary school, so I joined choir in middle school where I learned how to sing healthily which was incredibly edifying. This was the catalyst for my deepening love for music and I continued singing even after quitting choir to continue Theatre in high school.
