Hello! My name is Alex and I am an undergraduate student at Cornell University. I know first-hand how important a good tutor can be towards a students success. Growing up, I hated math. It was confusi... ng, hard, and no fun at all. My initial tutor was very stereotypical; he would teach from a text-book and that was that. However, my next tutor was entirely different. He acted more as a friend and a fellow student than a tutor, and my grades were a witness to the effect that had on my learning process. I have tutored several subjects over the years using this same ideology, and have had great results. Outside of school and work, I love sports and traveling.
