I have over 4 years of experience tutoring writing and English-related subjects. I graduated from Rosemont college with a B.A. in English literature and writing and spent some time in a creative writi... ng M.F.A. program before finishing my M.A. in English at the University of North Dakota. I have spent two years teaching freshmen composition courses and this will be my second year teaching AP English Language and Composition. In high school, I was an honors student at the top of my class and received all A's in my English classes while taking many extracurriculars. I have since gone on to explore the many fields of English beyond literature to technical writing, journalism, debate, proposal writing, genre-specific studies, and more. With the burgeoning fields of technological careers, my interests have shifted towards optimizing English and language skills for students based on their wants, needs, and especially their bright futures.
