I am an undergraduate student of Computer Science at Wichita State University with previous work experience in quality assurance and cloud technologies. I have certifications in Microsoft Azure and Am... azon Web Services that can give students an entry level understanding of cloud technologies and how to implement them for their own projects. I have built and launched a static website for a local construction company using front-end web development languages, primarily HTML and CSS. I have used Python and SQL during employment, while most of my coursework has included C++. Given this array of languages and technologies, I would like to teach their integration and implementation to make useful and active applications, games, and citizens. This is my primary goal with tutoring on LessonPal while pursuing a career in IT. I'm Theresa and I've always wanted to build and create cool things. I started coding in middle school from a how-to book my big sister gave me - from then on I was hooked. I'm almost finished with my ... Computer Science degree, but the learning won't stop there. A constant flow of patience and perseverance makes you stand out in IT. If this industry makes you excited, you are best off getting hands-on experience and working with the technology yourself. No teacher can teach you to learn. But they can strengthen your ability to understand and to enjoy the material. That's why I want to tutor. Students need to know their success is in their own hands. Whether or not you become an expert in the field is solely up to your drive, your commitment, and -most importantly- your humility to learn and to create.
