My favorite part of tutoring is seeing my student's eyes light up when they come across something interesting or have a eureka moment. My tutoring philosophy is that the more engaged students are, the more likely they are to succeed and enjoy themselves. As a result, I try to excite engagement and interest in my students. In addition, I develop skills in my student's that are applicable outside of History. I develop in them reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
