I am Vannga. I live in the U.S. I am friendly, creative, enthusiastic, positive, helpful, patient, persistent, caring, compassionate, artistic, energetic, reliable, responsible, and g... oal oriented as an instructor/teacher/tutor.
I have a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching ESL from Clark University, USA.
I have been a teacher/tutor for many years. I have also been a part time professional pianist for several years.
In addition, I am an amateur painter, drawer, fashion designer, home decorator, dancer, singer, actress, and director.
I have had many hobbies. My current interests are: traveling, playing piano, creating impromptu piano compositions, listening to music, creating videos of my piano playing to post on my YouTube Channel, watching TV/movies/international soccer games, watching YouTube videos on various interesting topics, and surfing on the Internet to read helpful information.
I have enjoyed teaching and tutoring for many years because I could help my students improve their language and other skills and achieving their life goals by reaching their desired language skills levels. By teaching and tutoring my students, I have learned interesting and helpful aspects about my students' languages, countries, and cultures.
My teaching/tutoring philosophy is that teaching/tutoring should be "student centered" and "highly interactive". Students should participate in all classroom activities actively and communicate intensely in class with their classmates and teacher under the guidance of their teacher.
I have used various media forms and various visual and performing arts forms in my classes to make them interesting and lively.
I have encountered many difficult challenges and obstacles since my childhood but I have overcome all of them successfully and proudly. My philosophy of life is that " After the rain comes the nice weather." ("Après la pluie, le beau temps". French Proverb).read more
