About
I grew up in General Santos City, a vibrant place known as the "Tuna Capital of the Philippines." Surrounded by mountains, sea, and and a bustling city, this environment has greatly influenced who I a... m.
As a creative soul, I have a passion for photography and videography, finding magic in capturing moments. I also enjoy graphic and web design, where transforming ideas into visually appealing creations brings me immense satisfaction. I often spend late nights tinkering with new technology, and editing videos and photos late into the night.
My academic background is in Technology and Livelihood Education, major in Information and Communications Technology, and I'm a licensed professional teacher. Teaching wasn't something I initially planned; it found me during my internship, where I discovered the joy of witnessing students’ "aha!" moments. Tutoring allows me to connect with students on a personal level, tailoring my approach to their unique learning styles, which makes it incredibly rewarding.
My tutoring philosophy centers on personalized learning. I believe in moving away from a one-size-fits-all approach and instead work closely with each student to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Together, we create a plan that fosters not just good grades but also confidence and independence in their learning journey.
What makes me "me" It's the mix of things, really. I'm a techie who loves creative expression, a teacher who's passionate about helping others learn, and someone who's always striving to learn and grow or commitment to lifelong learning. I'm also active in the STI Gensan Medical Team, giving back to the community. From first aid training to documentary filmmaking workshops, I love embracing new experiences. I guess you could say I’m a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.read more
