About
Hi there! My name is Sheridan Carta but you can call me Dan for short.
I was a licensed professional teacher, born and raised in the Philippines.
In my professional career, I started teaching Gener... al Chemistry and General Biology in 2020 and worked as a substitute teacher at the University of Mindanao within the Senior High School Department. I have applied in the Office of the Schools Division as a volunteer teacher in the city and deployed to the public elementary school.
I was also an on-call tutor both elementary and high school students. In my teaching experience, I have taught elementary students to enhance their skills in literacy, numeracy, and reading. I worked as a secondary teacher in a private institution and taught science subjects.
In my utmost dedication to teaching, I also write free verse poems, academic hacks and tips for easier learning, and different stories focusing mythological-supernatural fiction, realistic fiction, and inspirational-related genres.
Aside of tutoring and teaching students at school, I am doing spiritual activities such as evangelization, counseling, and youth empowerment. My teaching philosophy is "the diversity of learners is the core of the pedagogue's mission; where there is a diversity of learners, there then the diversity of teachers."
My goal is to help every individual to enhance not only their intellectual and academic skills but also to be whole as a person. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact me here anytime and I am gladly looking forward to working with you.read more
