I'm just glad that they are interested learning our language as one of my goal is for the Filipino language to become widely recognized worldwide.
I'm a single mom of two wonderful boys. They are both in college now, and I really missed the days when they were still little kids just playing around and sometimes afraid to go to school. I've been their tutor ever since they were young, helping them whenever they're struggling with a subject at school. I really love kids, and with them, I'm able to show my passion for teaching. Even my nieces and nephews always run to me when they need someone to explain something that they didn't understand in their lesson.
During my high school years, I've been a volunteer teacher in our community bible study every summer break. We read the bible in both Tagalog and English language. I enjoy teaching little kids as well as teenagers. Sometimes I use music on getting their attention. I play guitar and ukulele. Other says I sing very well.
Despite the fact that I don't have professional teaching background, I think my experiences have given me the skills necessary to be an effective teacher. My ultimate goal is to let the children feel that studying is great and learning new things is fun.read more
