I have loved and been passionate about animation from a very young age and for 8 years I have studied and worked in the field of 2D Animation. From the moment I was old enough to watch television anim... ation has been with me from admiring children's shows and family movies to exploring international shows when I was teen to studying specific animators as an adult animation as defined my life. In Middle School I posted my first few animations to the internet and in High School I was the only student to make animations for my Film class leading to an animation course being added to my school the year I graduated. Once I entered college my skills grew and refined as I participated in events such as the 24 hour animation challenge and helped fellow students understand the coursework. As I continue to major in Animation as of May 2023 I have become an Art Director for an upcoming series and have gained significant experience in not only organizational work but teaching as well through my fellow animators. Seeing as animation requires motivation, patience, and willingness to work with others I will adapt lesson plans to work with the student's learning style so they can become the best they can be in animation. read more

Hi, I'm Amaris and I was born in Sarasota, Florida but have lived in Oklahoma my entire life and I am attending Oklahoma City University to complete my Degree in Game Design and Animation. Art has bee... n my passion ever since I was young from making comics and painting to collecting art books of my favorite media. From this animation become my career of choice. I have been mentoring for 3 years, ranging from Middle School to High School Students. Starting in High School where I gave lessons on different animation programs and drawing fundamentals , by the time I hit College my skills and knowledge had exponentially increased. When I became an Art Director my mentoring increased as I offered support and taught animation fundamentals to my younger team members. My goal as a tutor is to prepare the next generation for the field and give them a head start. Animation is a field that fosters patience, dedication, and teamwork that is required for success so I believe instilling this early on along with fundamentals and fostering their passion will set them up for an easier transition for education beyond high school and the industry.read more
