Math has always been my strongest subject and has always come easier to me than anything else. I've had various math experiences/competitions throughout the years, including Math Olympiads, the Math F... air, AMC, and Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society). I have a strong passion for academics, particularly all STEM fields! Additionally, I have done peer tutoring and peer mentoring since middle school. I earned a perfect score on the Algebra I Regents. I received the Math Award across 3 years. I've taken and gotten a 5 on AP Statistics and AP Calculus BC. I got a 760 on the Math portion of the SAT. I'm currently studying Computer Science and Data Analytics at my university. I will make sure the lesson plans are fruitful and will address any needs of the student to make the most of our time. Hi! My name is Sara and I am currently in college pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Data Analytics. I've always been extremely passionate about academics in general, and I wanted to mak... e the most out of it by using my own knowledge to assist others. I started peer tutoring special-needs students in middle school. In high school peer tutoring, I got paired up with one student each year to work with one-on-one in whatever they needed help with. Additionally, I did Peer Mentoring, where I would go tutor middle school students as a high schooler. I've always gotten great joy in seeing the "Aha!" moment when something difficult finally clicks and makes sense to someone who may have been unsure about it prior. Additionally, as an older sister, I know the ins and outs of homework help, so I am more than willing to answer any and all questions. My speciality is definitely STEM subjects, and my strongest subject has always been Math.
