I have taught all types of music to students of all ages. I play the flute and piccolo and have been helping others learn how to read music. I help those grasp the knowledge of music theory along wi... th playing it properly on an instrument. Making sure their embouchure is correct along with keeping a tuned instrument. Instruments that require reeds need to be in proper shape and moist for sound quality. Showing the proper placement of your fingers on the keys and knowing how to press each one for sound of each note that is played. Posture and breathing exercises help with the quality of playing an instrument as well as helping with vocals. I have been working with students for over 7 years teaching, tutoring and much more. I enjoy swimming, crafts, and spending time with my family. I like to have fun with the learning process, to me, ... it makes its more interesting. I enjoy helping others learn and showing them new ways for life. I am a very easy going person and I just want things in life to be simple and sweet. Teaching is what I enjoy and working with those who want to learn is what I like the most about my job.read more
