Learnt a lot in 10 sessions. For a complete beginner, it challenged me and I realised that I was picking up phrases and words when I would hear native speakers talking to each other. Lot of useful expressions learned. Enjoyed it immensely

Pete has made learning Spanish fun (and effective) again! It was so easy in Spanish class when I was in grade school and wasn’t afraid to look silly while I made the mistakes that are normal when learning a new language. Then, as I grew older, fear & ego took over, so I was afraid to make mistakes in front of people and look like a dummy. Effectively, my Spanish became a fly in amber and I could never use it at all. But my job has become bilingual, so despite my fears, I have to give it another try. That’s where Pete came in. Pete has made Spanish fun again, and the way his style works, a mistake is like a bonus to be acknowledged, because mistakes help you get to the place you need to go much faster. And that changed my mind in that the more mistakes you make upfront, paradoxically, the faster you learn. There’s a lot of laughter in our classes which really takes the edge off too. So that’s how it’s going - mistakes no longer equal fear, and learning has really accelerated. Pete’s personalized style makes learning fun, and he has taken the fear out of my lessons. Now I know I can learn Spanish!
